About Us

We are a family owned and operated horse and animal stable that grew out of a passion for animals, horses and nature.

We are located only 15 minutes west of St. Albert on paved roads. Our 80 acres of rolling terrain include a forested horse riding trail; a 200x100 outdoor sand arena; a lunging area and a 60x80 barn/quonset with three interior medical stalls and a small sand area to address horse soundness.

We offer riding lessons for ages 6-106 and Ranch Camps for little ones aged 2-6 and older youth 6-14. We also offer a variety of camps (Spring and Summer) and adult retreats and lesson programs. Farm tours, school field trips and senior's visits are also available by private booking.

Birthday Parties

Making memorable moments is one of our specialties. Everyone deserves to feel special and unique on their birthday. We offer custom, unique experiences to share with not only your closest human herd (your family and friends) but also hundreds of our animal herds. We offer games and activities to move participants through the farm including:

one-on-on interaction with most animal groups (chickens, sheep, llama, goats, donkey, horses, cows and we cannot forget farm cats, Lola and Pumpkin;
horse led rides, in our outdoor sand arena (can ONLY be accomplished in small groups, 10 or less);
team building games; and
arena games.

The premise behind our programming, including birthday parties is FUN, FUN, FUN - we all learn and engage best while having fun!

People who place safety of themselves AND their horses first and foremost in everything they do. The services and facilities that we provide reflect our level of commitment to our goals.

Summer Camps 2023

Under The Stars

This camp sells out fast so sign up ASAP! Join us July 25th (9-4 pm) 2024, 26th, and 27th, and culminate this confidence-building camp by sleeping over on the 26th! That is right, this camp ends with a sleepover at the stables and a movie the night before in the stable with the goats! Youth will experience all animal herds including management/maintenance and increase their knowledge base and confidence through their daily programs. As with any of our programs, discounts are available for multi-family (same household) siblings. Ages: 8-16

Aries

Socrates

Aries is a 7 year old cremello quarterhorse gelding. Aries, also known as "Truly A Warrior", is definitely a warrior as he has overcome some significant health issues. He is a calm and cool equine with loads of personality. Aries' main discipline is english pleasure riding.

Socrates

Socrates is a 15-year-old Appaloosa Thoroughbred gelding. While Socrates is a man of many talents he is also an extremely perceptive horse, capable of mirroring the emotions of those around him. Socrates' other talents include teaching kiddos how to lead and ride; show jumping; english pleasure; and working through one's emotions.

Aramis

Dawson Dude is a 10 year old OTTB (Off the track thoroughbred). Dude is a highly spirited horse that matches the personality of his rider. Dude's riding pursuits include cross country eventing; some dressage and show jumping.

Aramis is a 15-year-old Andalusian Hanoverian gelding. He is a gentle giant that LOVES his food. He has an extremely special bond with a very important person at our stable. Through watching this connection we have all been reminded of the importance of consistency and confidence in life.
